The Woking CFR scheme is entirely voluntary and so sponsorship and donations are vital to ensure the local area continues to benefit from this service. All Responders are unpaid volunteers but the equipment is expensive and there are costs associated with maintaining a high level of training and recruiting further volunteers. The equipment cost for each new Responder is approximately £2,500 but donations of any size are gratefully received.
